Only Dead Fish Go With the Flow

A female electrical engineering student turned medical student. Surely after this I'll be capable of anything, right?

It’s been a long ride

I’m sure by now no one knows who I am, but what does it matter?

Yeah, I fell off the face of the earth when I started medical school — are you surprised?  Engineering was exhausting.  Applying for medical school was exhausting, but nothing comes close to the daily grind and sinking feeling of impending doom mixed with excitement and euphoria.  Plus, I thought I didn’t need to write anymore - HAH!

I’ll tell you this — Blogging is what got me through high school.  It is how I kept sane in the midst of raging hormones, a feeling of entrapment, and intense, soul-crushing boredom.  So why wouldn’t I turn to it now?  ”It’s cold, it’s dark outside, I have to be here at 8 o’clock in the morning, and I have boards to take.”
